Sig Kilo 2000 Laser Rangefinder

For long range shooting and hunting, you need a rangefinder that can really go the distance.  The new Sig Kilo 2000 is a palm sized laser rangefinder capable of ranging targets out to 3,400 yards!

Sig Kilo 2000 specs:

The first thing you’ll notice about the Kilo 2000 is its small, compact size.  At 4.2″ long, 3″ tall and 1.3″ wide – and weighing only 7.5 ounces – it easily fits in your pocket and won’t weigh you down.  Sig Sauer lists the rangefinding specs as:

  • 3400 yards on reflective targets
  • 1500 yards on a tree
  • 1200 yards on a deer

Sig Kilo 2000 Field Test:

I spent a few hours out in some wide open space with the Kilo 2000 and tested it for practical applications.  It’s one thing for marketing material to say what a product can do… it’s another to get it out into the field and see if it lives up to the hype.  I’m pleased to report the Sig Kilo 2000 is simple and easy to use – and does what Sig claims it can do.

A lot of rangefinders boast long distance ranging capability, but in small print you’ll see that distance on practical targets like animals is much less than what you’d like to see.  The Sig Kilo 2000 simply out performs any other comparable rangefinder on the market.

I was consistently able to range cows up to 1275 yards.  I was able to range semi-trucks on the freeway at 3180 yards!  Needless to say, I’m very impressed.  Order one from Amazon for lowest price.
